In reply to DanOrth. SimpliVity has a matrix that shows what versions of all VMware products they support. I am using the VCSA and they fully support it....all you have to be aware of is the versions they support. They currently stage support for the latest builds 90 days after general availability.

In reply to Neffets Ykztilop. Great post, to confirm the 5.5 VCSA is supported on versions prior to 3.0 & version 3.0 supports both the 5.5 & 6.0 VCSA.

New Simplivity customer. I would be interested in chatting with you as it sounds (2 CN3000’s) that our environments may be similar in size.

How have you been patching VCenter? Just received word today that VCenter patching is not in the scope for Simplivity support.

100BG is a lot. but the real question is to know why that much ? what the VM doing with such amount of memory. If I can do what Simplivity saying doing …with the 100 BG of memory … I will adopt it.
